The property management firm should be a positive extension of the referring agents brand as well as a trusted business partner when that referral may want to buy. Since our business growth heavily relies on these partnerships, we take both of these points very seriously. Below are the areas that we feel are most important:

We help our agent partners feel comfortable focusing on their core business while we preserve the client relationships they initiated with people that are not ready to buy or sell but are looking for property management services. This enables our agent partners to maximize their return on the time they invest in their business development efforts. Our partnership gives our agent partners the appearance of a single point of contact for home buying, selling and management needs.

Trust

Being your property management business partner is more important to us than a one-time deal. Just as our agent partners have chosen to focus their efforts on buying and selling properties, Mars Hill has chosen to invest our efforts into providing a superior property management experience. We make sure that if an owner or tenant ever takes an interest in buying or selling a property, we always refer them back to the agent partner that referred them originally. We use a database management system that stores this information so that we always have it available. This technology is what helps our teams to provide superior service and response times which reinforces our brand credibility. Mars Hill also has an industry leading low property to employee ratio of 25:1 and an eviction rate of less than 1%.

Communication

We use our database management system and website portals to communicate effectively with our owners, tenants and agent partners. This helps us to create a fabric of communication that you would be able to leverage as part of the Mars Hill family. This gives our agent partners the ability to create “Differentiated Top Of Mind” awareness.

We pay our agent partners one months management fee as a thank you for the referral business. Mars Hill has a service, support and accounting team to provide immediate attention to our owners and tenants. Having a full complement of team members, who have all been part of Mars Hill for an average of eight years, enables us to build the necessary industry partnerships required to maintain a superior experience. Our teams enjoy working together and it shows in our service.
