Leasing Agent

As a way of keeping our Mars Hill employees focused on providing our owners and tenants a superior property management experience, we rely on our agent partnerships to show our available rental properties. Mars Hill receives an average of 30-50 leads a month from potential tenants. Many of these are pre-qualified through our “Pre-Qualification” process to vet any individuals who may not be in a position to make a rental decision in the immediate future.

Processing Leads

The following business process has been implemented to ensure we are being fair to our agent partners while responding to our potential tenants as quickly as possible:

Step 1

Lead comes into our support team. The support team specialist documents the lead into our lead tracking form. The address, date received and whether the person has been pre-qualified is entered to the spreadsheet.

Step 2

The support team specialist sends the lead out to the agent partnership community.

Step 3

The agent partnership community will view the lead and determine if they would like to take responsibility for this engagement. If no, then they just do not respond. If yes, then they would respond to the email communicating their interest and then, accessing the spreadsheet, the agent partner would be responsible for updating the columns as the relationship progresses. This has proven an easy way to communicate so that the Mars Hill team can easily help when needed and so that our agents are paid in a timely manner.
