Margaret Strain

Personal Information

Margaret is our Business Development and Marketing Team Leader. She is responsible for overseeing and supporting a team dedicated to managing the entire sales process. In addition, Margaret and her team are held accountable for planning and executing business strategies geared towards building enriched and lasting relationships with real estate professionals. Margaret assists with the day-to-day marketing on MLS, social media and overall reputation management initiatives. Before joining the Mars Hill team in May 2024, Margaret was a Swiss-army knife of sorts in Multi-Family Property Management and has experience flipping houses in Virginia Beach, VA. Prior to entering the industry, Margaret was a preschool teacher in Alexandria, VA which is where she fine-tuned her communication skills, creativity and “sparkle”.

Margaret is a military spouse and mother to two adorable babes, Jami (4) and Jaxon (1). She and her family currently live in Destin, Florida where her husband, James, is stationed at Eglin AFB. They have a miniature Goldendoodle, Bart and living room lion (standard house cat), Dale, who have made it their mission to render her unable to partake in her favorite pastimes, reading and crochet.
